Nurseries News Round-Up – Week 18

Your weekly round-up of news from around our wonderful Golden Apples Family nurseries is here!

HAVE SUMMER THIS!

Bluebell, Eltisley

We celebrated the Summer Solstice at Bluebell this week. We spoke about why we have this day in our calendar and what it means, then the children then drew some lovely pictures to mark the occasion.

NICE ICE!

The Appletree, Attleborough

The Appletree gang were very spoilt by a lovely parent who brought the staff some delicious ice creams to share. Big thanks go to Henry’s mummy – they went down a treat!

Room Leader Wanted!

If the pull of free ice cream sounds good, you’re in luck! Due to an increase in numbers we are recruiting for an additional room leader within the nursery.

If you have experience within the early years sector and are looking for your first room leader role, or if you’re an experienced room leader already, please send us your CV. Full and relevant level 3 in early years is essential.

COOL POOL!

The Cornerstone, Martlesham

The children kept cool with some awesome paddling pool fun – which included a mini pool for the babies and some refreshing ice lollies. Yum!

DAD’S HOW IT’S DONE!

Head Start, Ramsey

Last week was all about Father’s Day and the special people in our lives. The children made cards and a special gift – they also enjoyed reading the books of the week all about daddies.

The children played with the large parachute in the garden, did some ace gardening tasks and worked together well to get the toy animals off the parachute.
